Course rules ie a b c numbering

Hello to every one . I am a Judge from New Zealand who has been looking around this and other European sights . Can I ask one Question ?
It concerns the numbering of your courses . What are the groups of, for example, 3 jumps numbered ,say,9 9a 9b 9c, which give you over 20 obsicles .
I am strictly limited to max 20 in our senior and Int classes . Would some one be able to E Mail me with an answer. oh by the way I run a big black Groenendale witha bit of swedish blood in him . We have fun with winning speeds of 5m/sec plus.
